Before applying for a visa, all student visa applicants are required to be
accepted and approved by their school or program.
Once accepted, educational institutions will provide each applicant the
necessary approval documentation to be submitted when applying for a
student visa. Students can apply within 120 days from the start date of I-20
and can travel within 30 days from the start date of I-20.
If you wish to engage in academic studies in the United States at an
approved school, such as an accredited U.S. college or university, private
secondary school, or approved English language program then you need an
F-1 visa.
You will also need an F-1 visa if your course of study is more than 18 hours a
week.

You can apply for a Tier 4 (General) student visa to study in the UK if you’re
16 or over and have been offered a place on a course
Your education provider will send you a reference number called a
confirmation of acceptance for studies (CAS) once they’ve offered you a
place on a course. You’ll need to enter this on your visa application.
You must apply for your visa no more than 6 months after you receive the
CAS.
You can apply for a visa up to 3 months before your date of travel to the UK.
You should get a decision on your visa within 3 weeks.

matriculation cohorts has decreased over the last few years from 2010.
The tuition grants for international students total about $210 million per year,

Applying for Visa
Once you have received an acceptance letter (valid for two weeks)
from an institute of higher education in Singapore, you need to apply
for a Student’s Pass to be eligible to stay there.
You should make your application for a Student’s Pass to the
Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (www.ica.gov.sg). You can do
this online using the Student's Pass Online Application & Registration
(SOLAR) system.
Those applying for a Student’s Pass for the first time must submit
their application not more than two months, and not less than one
month, before their course begins.
A processing fee of S$30 (INR 1,131.53) is charged for every
application submitted to the ICA. An additional issuance fee of S$60
(INR 2,262.91) must be paid once the Student's Pass is issued.

have a confirmed offer to study at a private academic institution.
Applicants should complete application form ID 995A. The
Sponsors should complete application form ID 995B. The
application forms (ID 995A and ID 995B). The forms can also be

Applicants residing in overseas countries or territories may
submit their application forms together with the relevant

The Department of Immigration and Border Protection (DIBP) is
responsible for issuing visas for entry to Australia. Students who
are planning to study a CRICOS registered course are required
to obtain a student visa.
The student has to be eligible for Streamlined Visa Processing
(SVP)

until the University issues the student with a CoE. A CoE is
