3. Acoustic music comprises music that solely or primarily uses instruments
which produce sound through entirely acoustic means, as opposed to
electric or electronic means. Performers of acoustic music often increase the
volume of their output using electronic amplifiers. However, these
amplification devices remain separate from the amplified instrument and
reproduce its natural sound accurately, allowing the artist to be more natural
with the flow of the song. A microphone is placed in front of an acoustic
instrument which is then wired up to an amplifier, which has a low bass
therefore you can still hear the song clearly .
Indie Rock music is a genre which is your own, which you have created to
suit your self. However it also means it’s a genre of alternative rock that
originated in the United Kingdom and the United States in the 1980s. Indie
rock is extremely diverse, with sub-genres that include indie pop, grunge,
jangle pop, C86, and lo-fi, among others. Originally used to describe record
labels, the term became associated with the music they produced and was
initially used interchangeably with alternative rock.
I think some indie and acoustic tend to relaxing and are a meditation in a way,
because the artist tends to have a voice which stands out and sounds differentin
an abstract way. These are shown by the music artists Ed Sheeran, Jeremy
Passion and Indie music would be Florence & The machine as she is part of an
English indie rock band. Indie music now-a-day is more relaxing instead of a
heavy base to it.
