This presentation is a summarized descriptive analysis for the ZAGG Incorporated website. ZAGG's website is very well developed, easily navigated and connected to the whole world through a number of social media including twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.... ZAGG engages in the design and distribution of accessories and protective coverings for electronics. Their main product "the invisibleSHIELD" is made from a high quality protective film covering. However, ZAGG’s business does not rely solely on those protective devices. Having several competitors such as BestBuy, Logitech, Belkin makes it hard for ZAGG to succeed in every single domain. For instance, BestBuy competes with ZAGG in iPhones’ selling, Logitech competes with ZAGG in iPads’ selling and Belkin competes with ZAGG in both iPad Air keyboard case and iphone selling. However, ZAGG is considered number one in selling screen protector among all competitors. Our analysis showed important issues that should be taken into consideration for further improvement. For instance, ZAGG should be aware of all the strengths that could be of great benefit if developed properly. ZAGG should be also aware of the weaknesses to work on and improve. Opportunities are always available to move forward. Threats are always there for any business but the red flag is scary when competitors are watching.
In terms of crawlability: ZAGG’s brand name is searchable. The website is accurate with a well-organized home page. However, the sitemap can be improved by adding more links to the site’s products; example: Google, bing, or Google Analytics, etc..
In terms of relevance: ZAGG’s title tag is unique and consistent with a full description of keywords that are used relevant to the page’s content. However, multiple H1’S are being applied for the same page and the text on some pages is embedded within images. As for popularity, ZAGG requires a lot of work on their domain to optimize visibility and ranking. Finally for conversion optimization, the website does have some important features as well as successful pages in terms of link to social media; however, forms should be applicable for customers to fill and submit whenever needed.
