By the use of cinematography we have edited the video to show the
main character as vulnerable. We did this by using the technical
features of cutting the scenes and overlapping them to connote a sense
of fear and confusion as the character is looking around trying to figure
out where she is.

The ballerina in this video is
shown as also vulnerable when
she is being attacked by
men, this links with Laura
Mulveys theory of the male
gaze where the women is
looked on as an object.
However, this character is also
shown as a strong women as
she scares the animals in the
forest.
In this image below we used an
editing technique to change the
color of the background to
connote that the character is
strong even after being
4. Male
With the males in the music video
they are patriarchal and this is very
stereotypical when it comes to
representing males in the media.
We showed this by using dark
colored costumes to represent
them as scary and dominant
characters. Also, in the scenes the
woman is placed in the middle of
both men and this connotes a
sense of the men being in control of
the female.
5. Male
In this screen shot it shows how dominant the men in the music video
are, once again the male is shown with dark clothing and is dark hared
whereas the female is light hair. This connotes the idea that men are in
control of women and that they are patriarchal.

shown with different
personalities, as the main
character is shown to be
vulnerable and lost
whereas the ballet dancer
is also shown as
vulnerable when being
attacked however, she is
also shown as strong.
