2. Costumes
The actors in our music video are going to wear
casual costumes. The boy will be dressed like an
average boy in a t-shirt/shirt, hat, jacket or hoodie,
jeans and trainers. The girl is going to wear a top
with a skirt/plain dress with tights, assisted with a
scarf, jacket and boots. We have decided to use
these outfits as they are very modern, trendy and
urban. Also, many teenagers in London dress like
this so they will be more attracted to the music
video if they see them dressed in a similar way.
Additionally, the costumes will suit our song choice
and video perfectly and will combine well with the
music; making our video more effective and
realistic. Both Myles and Elle are going to be told to
wear similar clothes as described above, to the day
of the shooting.
5. Props
We will be provided with a camera and tripod by our school, so we can film the
footage for our music video. A member of our group will bring her playbook
with her incase the actor forgets the lyrics for our song, or what the song
sounds like in general. The female actor will have her handbag with her to
make her character look more realistic, and feminine. I will take my iPhone
with me on the day of the shooting so we can keep up to date on any travel
issues if they occur, find maps/directions to locations, contact emergency
services if any accidents happen, and take pictures of members filming and so
on.
