Through this article I learned one main thing, that trying new things might be hard at first, not only to adjust but to be able to fix the “kinks” in the new thing that you are investing a lot of your time in to make life and your students life more accessible and a new easier way for them to learn. Even though he feels like the “new” technologies of tomorrow have become todays “norm” he is still optimistic that the teachers and administrators will keep pushing forward and develop new and more innovative ways to teach in the classroom. Chretien poses a great question at the beginning of this article that really made me start thinking about all of the different ways that technology is being used throughout not only our classrooms but also our communities. Just thinking about all of the new devices that are constantly being created makes me excited to see what the future of technology in education has to offer.
