Office manager for two senior Policy officials and twenty Action Officers.
Oversee daily agenda for Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense to include transportation
to and from the White House and Congressional meetings.
Prepare and correct internal and external correspondence using Microsoft Word, Excel
and PowerPoint.
Receive and track correspondence between office and various outside agencies including
State Department and the White House.
Pass security clearances for meetings at the White House and National Security Council.
Track travel for Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense using Defense Travel System
(DTS).
Release agent for worldwide DOD CABLES using secure internet.

Oversaw the Policy Leadership Course for Directors that provides new directors the tools

Assessment to over 150 Policy personnel.

Supervised eight military and ninety civilian acquisition professionals in their execution of a
$920,000,000 a year budget.
Responsible for briefing Senior Army Leadership and Congressional members on current
and planned Army clothing and equipment initiatives.
Reviewed over three hundred Post Combat Survey assessments from returning Soldiers
in order to provide updated feedback to Assistant Product mangers enabling them to
conduct product improvements
Leveraged experience and knowledge to educate Soldiers in the Acquisition Cycle so
they have a better understanding of process their equipment goes through.
Traveled extensively to work with industry to convey the needs of the Soldier to insure
quality, design and performance were incorporated based on the needs of the user.
Office of the Sergeant Major of the Army (SMA), 01/2008-09/2011 40-60 hrs per week +
extensive travel including OCONUS

Planned and coordinated over 200 trips for the Senior Enlisted Leader of the Army
including 24 trips into combat zones.
Assisted in the planning and protocol of two Pentagon ceremonies awarding the nation’s
highest award the Medal of Honor.
Coordinated security and transportation for eight visits to the White House and also
attendance to the Inauguration Ball for the 44th President, President Obama.
Responsible for the planning, logistics and execution of three USO tours with senior
Army officials and major recording and comedic personalities into the combat theater to
bring morale boosting entertainment to deployed Soldiers.
Restructured the office process of utilizing Army executive flights and commercial
flights resulting in a savings of over $200,000.
Maintained close coordination with Senior Army Staff channels during trips to ensure the
SMA was in keep abreast of critical Army events allowing near seamless
communications.
Responsible for gathering and prioritizing problems during visits and ensuring they were
answered with minimal delay upon return.
Provided personnel security to the SMA in numerous foreign countries such Djibouti,
Estonia, Kosovo, the Netherlands, and Ukraine.
4. Assisted in the planning and installation of updated security system for the home of the
SMA increasing the physical safety and security of the fourth highest ranking Army
leader.
