In my A2 advance portfolio I decided to create ‘The first two pages of a new local newspaper, together with a radio advertisement for the newspaper and a hyperlinked pages from the paper’s website.’ The reasons in which I chose to do this for my advance portfolio is because the genre of media and the technology of which I needed to use was completely different to what I did during my foundation portfolio and I wanted to create and adapt on other media skills. 15. And both a published website for our local newspaper and a radio advert to advertise it to the public.The combination of these task work brilliantly and complement each other very well. For instance as we crated a new local newspaper we needed people to become aware of this. The for both the ancillary task are types of publication especially the advert to make future readers aware of our new local newspaper ‘The Link’.
16. What have you learned from your audience feedback? The main audience feedback that we created during our planning and research period was a questionaire which we handed out to 40 people in a local area, of different genders and ages. The results of this audience feed back where; Our Analysis of our audience research is that;Our local newspaper must be –· Attractive to 30 - 70 years· It will be published once a week· It will be mainly full of local news within the community· The information within the newspaper will be exciting and interesting We found this incredibly helpful because as the audience there option was very important to us as a team and these questionaire results helped us created the newspaper we finished with.

19. To create our website we used a webpage called; www.yola.com. This website creator was very easy to use. Originally we started to create our website in a webpage called; www.weebly.com , however this site was not as efficient and couldn’t handle the amount of images in which we were downloading onto the website and the layout in which we wanted them.
20. To create our radio advert we used a Apple Mac programme called; Garage Band which the school supplies for us. To create this we recorded our voices with a input microphone and adapted the contrast of the sound of our voices on the software. When we had finished this advert we transferred it to a iTunes document and then updated it to www.youtube.com to access its embed code to put on our blogs.
