- Cardio-Respiratory and Critical Care Team provides expert care to a diverse population of patients requiring advanced care and monitoring of respiratory, cardiac or other system effected. The multidisciplinary team consists of physician, nurses, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, social workers, dieticians and physio. or occupational therapists. The program encompasses the following services and also TSH has a partnership program for Home Oxygen Services. The Pacemaker Program Ensures that patients who require a pacemaker to regulate their heart rhythm have the procedure done and recover with the assistance of specially trained nurses who provide follow-up and monitoring once the pacemaker implant has occurred. The Heart Function Clinic Serves to provide care and follow-up to assist patients to manage their heart function through assessment, education monitoring and consultation with a specially trained team. The Sleep Diagnostic Centres has Specialized staff who monitor patients through evening and night appointments to determine breathing and sleep disorders. The Pulmonary Function Lab Is a testing clinic to assess breathing and lung function.
- Acute Care for Elders Unity (ACE) Inpatient unit at each campus to provide support for frail seniors. Length of stay is up to 10 days. Open for 10 years and considered best practices for supporting frail hospitalized seniors. VALUE Program (Volunteers Assisting the Leisure Unique needs of our Elderly New program in 2011 on in-patient medical units to improve patient experience with socialization and stimulation
