2. MARKET WRAP
Sensex dropped 1.62% @ 19,325.36 pts; Nifty dropped 1.53%@ 5,852.25 pts.
European major indices FTSE, DAX & CAC were down from 1.38% to 1.46%;
NASDAQ was down 1.53% and Dow Jones Industrial Ave. was down 0.77%.
Sensex fell 317.39@19,325.36; Nifty fell 90.80pts@5,852.25. Benchmark indices logged
their biggest single-day loss in seven months, as the slide in European shares unnerved
investors in India as well and on weakness in global shares due to worries over Fed
slowing its bond buying program. Metal, banking, realty shares were biggest losers.
