2. There’s not much I can really say about this disease. I can imagine how disheartening it is to
have this come into a families life. One minute the person is very active, cognizant and his/her
normal self.
The actual memory slowly begins to decline, then the symptoms accelerate leading to dementia.
I’m sure millions are put into the research for cures but as of today nothing.

Alzheimer’s Disease is the most common type of dementia, which is a group of illnesses that
cause cognitive impairment in the areas of memory and usually one or two other areas of
cognitive abilities, like language, judgement, and executive function (planning, processing, and Get Started Now!

If you’re like me you’ll always be worried about older relatives slowly falling into the abyss of
Alzheimer’s Disease. There is a slight possibility that my family may have to deal with this disease,
hopefully not, but you never know.
