procedures and systems, training and development, and budgeting/fiscal
responsibility.

• Duties included the scheduling of jobs and coordination of resources to
ensure that the work is completed in an orderly and efficient manner ensuring
continued company growth. Skills utilized are Carpentry, Electrical, Plumbing,
and Dry wall as needed. Company is a limited partnership between my brother
and me.
[ 06/01-04/03 ] Westmoreland Regional Hospital
Director of Environmental Services
• 260 Bed Facility. Payroll and Benefits for a FTE staff of 85 custodians and 2
linen room personnel, 3 leads. Coordinated the contracted cleaning and In-
house Plant maintenance of 33 off-site facilities. Total areas were in excess of
750,000 square feet.

Buildings Manager
• Performed daily inspections within One Oxford center to ensure that required
cleaning was performed. Total FTE of 45. Employees were unionized.
[ 10/00-02/01] Oakland Business Improvement District
Operations Manager
• Duties included the processing or requests by Stakeholders, meeting with
various Local Government Officials and Agencies to ensure that the inter
agency cooperation and advocacy was given to all projects to ensure the
Business District was receiving its required attention. Total FTE 5.
3. [ 9/99-04/00 ] American Bionics Corp. Jan-San Supply House
Purchasing Agent
• Performed purchasing function of all goods sold at American Bionics.
Responsible for managing office staff of 4 FTE’s. Duties included negotiation
with suppliers. Corporation’s annual sales were approximately five million
dollars for the 1999 fiscal year.
[ 5/91-09/99 ] University of Pittsburgh Medical Center
Facilities Manager
• Responsible for day to day operation of 20 UPMC properties. Coordinated all
contracted housekeeping, landscaping, physical plant and related services.
Oversee build-outs and renovations to agency suites for both commercial and
medical tenants. Serviced on various committees including community
programs that ensured good neighbor relations within UPMC system and
surrounding communities. Responsible for Y2K initiative which included
testing for compliance and implementation of resolutions when concerns were
identified. Directly supervised 4 Stationary Engineers.

Associate Director of Environmental Services
• Responsible for all purchasing, payroll, benefit training, recruitment and
placement of staff. 80 FTE’s custodians, 1 coordinator and 2 supervisors.
Responsible for the operation of 2 in-house Regulated Medical Waste (RMW)
Incinerators including the interstate transportation of said waste. This
involved the tracking of over 1.2 million pounds of generated RMW per year.
Served on the negotiating team between University of Pittsburgh and UPMC
as a representative for contract negotiations for SEIU Local 29 employees.
Served as Third step grievance resolution with the last and final step before
final binding arbitration.
