2. What is your preference in music? From my results, the most popular music category for a magazine is R‘N’B, therefore this is the category I have chosen to present in my magazine.
3. What is the appropriate amount you would pay for a magazine? The most popular price a person would pay for a magazine is £1.50, however I have chosen a price of £1.99 for my magazine as many people chose £2.50 also therefore £1.99 is in the middle of £1.50 and £2.50 and is still under £2 so isn’t expensive.
4. What attracts you to buy a magazine? There are a number of ideas that attracts people to a magazine but referring to my results cover star and colours seem to be most popular. Due to this cover star will be my number one priority to attract people to my magazine. Furthermore, I will use colours that compliment my cover star, therefore I will have a successful magazine.
5. How often do you purchase a magazine? Due to my results, the most popular choice of people purchasing a magazine is monthly therefore I have chosen to do a monthly magazine.
6. What parts of a magazine do you prefer? According to my target audience, Interviews was the most popular choice on what people prefer in a magazine, due to this I will present interviews interesting to read for my target audience.
7. Name Four artists you would like to see presented in a magazine? According to my target audience Kings of Leon is the most popular however as I have chosen to do an R‘N’B magazine I will focus on starts such as Jay Z. Furthermore I will include other artists such as Lady Gaga and Kings of Leon for other peoples interests.
8. What name would you prefer that is suitable for a magazine? My original name for my magazine was Showdown, however I then changed my idea and decided to call it Saviour. As my target audience most popular choice was Showdown I redrafted the name to go back to my original idea and name my magazine Showdown. However I recently thought of a new name which is Pulse.
9. What font would look presentable for a magazine? The most popular choice of a font being used in my magazine is ‘Goudy stout’, I have not yet decided which font I shall use for my magazine however I will include Goudy Stout for subheadings.
10. What colours are suitable for an R‘N’ B magazine? My target audience chose red and black for an R‘N’B magazine, these are the colours I will use for my magazine as it’s probably the most suitable for an R’N’B magazine and most presentable.
