It is governed by a 12-member board and owns its headquarters in Kansas City, Missouri. The IAAP aims to elevate standards for administrative professionals and promote their value through education and training programs. It is governed by a 12-member International Board of
Directors, elected annually by member delegates at the
IAAP International Convention and Education Forum.
IAAP owns and operates its headquarters building
located in Kansas City, Missouri.
It is NOT a union organization. IAAP works in partnership
with employers to promote excellence and lifelong
learning.

7. A currently employed (or within the last two years) administrative
professional, a holder of the CPS and/or CAP rating, or an employed
teacher of business education.
IAAP Annual Membership
Dues for a Professional
member are $58 plus a one-
time processing fee of $15.
If an individual joins a local
chapter, chapter and
division dues are additional
and vary depending on the
division/chapter.
8. For a Student Member, there is no processing fee, only
annual fees of $24.
9. An associate member is an individual, firm, or educational
institution that sustains the objectives of IAAP.
Associate membership dues include a one-time processing fee of
$15 and annual dues of $155.
