CONCEPT
The concept started a couple of months ago when
two young Tshepo Mothapo and Yollanda Didishe
people met and decided to do an events
management company called Pins and Poses. It is a
collaborative effort between these two young and
creative people who share the same ideas in
entrepreneurship, development and skills
transference. The objective is to expose and nurture
young talent in all possible aspects.
CONCEPT
The first project to be organized will be a fashion
show – Living in Fashion to offer a platform for young
artists, designers, photographers to explore and
further develop their talent in fashion. It will allow
young and upcoming artists to show case their work
and skills in a way that would be beneficial to all
parties.
ESSENTIALS
The items needed to ensure that the show takes place are
the following: Designers – commitment fee of R500 each
Entertainment & Sound
Models
Photographers
Guests – entrance fee of R70 each and R150 VIP Food
Venue
Décor
THE NEED
• Why attend our fashion show?
• It is not all for show, Pins and Poses has recognised that there is a great
deal of talent in our flourishing fashion renaissance but the problem is
that there is not enough being done
• With that being said we have decided to provide a platform to address
this issue.
• How will we address the issue
• Pins and Poses is proud to present its first ever “living in Fashion” show. A
Place where fashion will come alive and become wearable art for those
who seek to express themselves
PROMOTIONAL VALUE
• Bloggers
• Bloggers attending the show will review and post about
the designs they have seen and what they liked and
disliked
• Buyers
• Buyers will be invited to see the clothes showcased to
see if they would include it in their list of designs to
recruit
PROMOTIONAL VALUE
• Social media
• The company will build a designer profile and post it on its
respective social media pages
• News papers
• News papers will be invited to view and cover the show
• Magazines
• We are looking to negotiate with online magazines to negotiate
the terms of the show and acts being profiled in the magazines
TO CONCLUDE
• Profile
• We need a profile from the designers and models
consisting of
• History
• Pictures of previous shows/range
• Mission, vision, dreams
• Why they decided to do fashion
• The profile will be compiled and used as a marketing tool
for the show and designers and models will be requested
to post it on their pages, if any
• Photoshoot
• 5th March
• Two garments will be rquired
• The photos will be used to promote show and designers
