First, when it comes to your time, plan head. A good plan or schedule is one of the best ways to work efficiently. That’s no different with social media. One of the best ways to do that is to schedule some set of posts and tweets for the month all in one sitting. You don’t need to necessarily post 5 times a day. For most small businesses, that’s just impossible, it’s about keeping regular, even if that means one post a week. That way, if someone does visit your Facebook page, they will see that there’s content there that’s fresh and regularly updated. But, if you try to post everyday, you’ll probably burn out quickly and go a month or two with nothing – that will be a much worse situation.
Now, briefly a little about what we do. TwoCents Social is a simple solution we built to help educate and enable small business owners to get more customers online. We help business owners improve their search ranks, their reviews, and their social media. We think that being successful online is about more than just being on Facebook. We also think that small business owners can manage their own online presence without spending a lot of time or money. Here’s how it works.
When a business signs up, our system starts taking a look at what’s happening to your business on various websites. It looks at what you’re doing, what you’re not doing, and what other people doing. For example, a new review on Yelp, or a change in your search rank on Google, or maybe someone commented on your Facebook page.
Then, we take that information and compare it to what all the online experts would recommend that you do. So we take all of the best practices, similar to the ones I just mentioned, and make sure you’re doing the best that you can. From that, we compile a simple list of important things for you to know about – like a new review – and list of things for your to do – like use a hashtag in your next post.
Finally, we want you to do that work – so you don’t have to pay anyone else to do it. So, we have 100’s of educational guides that teach you how to do everything that we’re recommending. That’s it.
