2. With the majority of
answers of our survey
coming from people
between the ages of 1620, this could affect the
idea to make it coincide
with the parameters set
out by the BBFC (British
Board of Film
Classification). We would
not make a film that our
audience would be unable
to go and see in cinemas
due to it being an age
rating they could not see.
3. By looking at the answers
to this question, and
seeing that over 60% of
the people who answered
were male and because of
this we would aim our film
more towards to the male
audience. Perhaps by
following the male gaze
theory more and perhaps
use the features of the
theory in the promotion of
the film
4. With a variety of
replies, coming from
people in a variety of
different occupations,
we will not make
changes to the film to
fit a certain
occupational criteria
because it might stop
people from wanting
to see it.
5. With a fairly even split
in the replies to this
question, it does not
affect our idea in a
great way. But with the
replies saying yes they
like horror coming back
with a gory films being
preferred, that means
we could target our
film on that
6. From the result of this
question about how
many times people go to
the cinema, this could
effect the release of the
film. If it was a film to go
to cinema, it would
probably have a bigger
release in more cinemas
knowing the film would
be seen by more people.
7. With the most common
reply being friends, we do
not need to avoid scenes
that would be awkward
or uncomfortable to see
with a family member.
8. Out of the choices given
the most common
response was a trailer.
This means this is the
most important aspect of
a films pre-release.
Therefore we will make
sure it is of a high enough
quality when we produce
our trailer.
9. There is a variety of
different things people
expect from a horror film.
But the most popular
response we got from the
replies to our questionnaire
was to be scared and also
to be made to jump. This
hasn’t changed our idea
because this is what we
intended to enforce in the
film anyway. We will also
have many of the
responses in our film too.
10. The majority of
responses we had
decided they did not
know their favourite
horror film. We do not
know whether this is due
to them not having a
favourite, or because
they are the one to dislike
horror movies.
