2. Five pillars of BRC Greening activities
1. Reducing of consumption
• Renovation of building (insulation, new windows, saving water taps, etc.)
• Green purchase (low consumption equipment, re-chargeable batteries, saving
bulbs, etc.)
• Lower consumption of resources by staff (green workshops, double side
printing, turning off electricity devices when out of office, etc.)
2. Recycling
•
Paper, printer cartridges, plastics, glass, batteries
3. Awareness raising
• Green months, tree planting, biodiversity saving activities, nature
trips, competitions, newsletter
4. Offsetting
•
Income from roof solar panels used for offsetting CO2 emissions of the staff trips
