These are some of the elements which are available though Glow. There are lots of ways to Collaborate. The use of Glow groups and communication tools. Glow Learn is the VLE where we can search for resources create a set of activities, allocate these to pupils and monitor and mark their progress. Other elements such as Secure File transfer etc will add to what can be achieved using Glow.

The child is at the centre of this diagram, and our aspiration for each child is represented through the four capacities which surround the child. By using Glow are definitely developing the capacity of Successful Learners who can use the technology for learning. By trying to create a variety of learning experiences By using Glow to exemplify the purposes of Curriculum for Excellence. We can see that by creating a variety of learning experiences we also hope to develop enthusiasm and motivation for learning. Glow obviously allows children to use technology for learning. Being able to personalise and manage their own learning at a time, place and making best use of resources will enable young people to become Confident individuals. By showing respect for others when using Glow Meet, Glow chat, discussion forums to communicate and collaborate with very much supports the capacity of Responsible Citizens. The children need to be able to communicate in various ways using Glow, to their peers, adults and children older and younger than them. Use of Glow groups will allow pupils to work in partnership and in teams.
