  1. Här kan man se var i utbildningssystemet friskolorna finns. Friskolor finns som grundskolor och gymnasieskolor.
  2. - Friskolor som vi känner dem idag har funnits sedan 1992 – då regeringen genomförde friskolereformen. Regeringen införde då offentlig finansiering av friskolor – det som brukar kallas skolpeng (voucher) - Sedan dess är det alltså möjligt för ALLA att välja vilken skola de vill gå i. Tidigare hade bara de rika möjlighet att gå i en annan skola än de kommunala. Sedan dess har mångfalden av pedagogiska metoder och skolprofiler ökat kraftigt. Generellt sett så finns det idag betydligt större möjlighet för en elever att hitta en skola som verkligen passar dem. Faktum är att från början så var det ett krav att friskolor skulle vara annorlunda än den offentliga skolan. Idag finns inte det kravet, MEN många skolor profilerar sig ändå ofta på något sätt! - I stället för att vara något annat än den offentliga skolan konkurrerar skolorna med kvalitet. (Competition on more equal terms). -Som vi kommer se så ökar antalet skolor och elever i friskolor kraftigt.
  3. UTVECKLINGEN AV FRISKOLOR GRUNDSKOLAN SKOLOR -Idag finns det ca 700 friskolor i grundskolan. Det är 15 procent av alla grundskolor. -Diagrammet visar att antalet friskolor ökar stadigt medans antalet skolor totalt minskar. Antalet friskolor har ökat med ca 130 skolor på 5 år. Man kan se att ökningen tar fart i samband med införandet av skolpengen 1992.
  4. 50 procent av alla gymnasieskolor är friskolor - Många skolor är små med bara enstaka program, medan kommunala skolor ofta har 10-15 program
  5. UTVECKLINGEN AV FRISKOLOR GRUNDSKOLAN ELEVER - Vi har sett att antalet friskolor ökar, men i och med att friskolorna ofta är små så är det när man tittar på hur eleverna och föräldrarna väljer som man verkligen ser hur populära friskolorna är. Idag går 11 procent av landets elever i en fristående skola. Före reformen 1991 var det väldigt få – knappt 1 procent.
  6. I gymnasieskolan går 22 procent av eleverna i friskola. Nästan hela ökningen av antalet elever har valt en friskola.
  7. Aktiebolag är den vanligaste företagsformen i Sverige. Ägarna tar ingen personlog risk. Associations, foundations, idealistic
  8. Vi vägleder och ger råd i skolfrågor som kräver experthjälp. Ex. En skola kan ha fått någon anmälan eller anmärkning vid en inspektion En skola kanske inte får den skolpeng den anser att den ska få Skolan kanske vill ha hjälp med hur den ska agera i en konfliktsituation mellan elever eller en elev kanske inte närvarar i skolan Vi informerar och utbildar skolledare i medlemsskolorna. Ex. Hemsida och nyhetsbrev Arrange conferences, seminars and regional meetings where we highlight aktuella frågor och har programpunkter som ska hjälpa skolan att förbättras, t ex ledarskap, bedömning och betygsättning. Vi försöker påverka den nationella skolpolitiken och skapa förståelse och välvilja hos allmänheten (among the people) Ex. Vi försöker hålla goda kontakter med politiker och med myndigheter och andra organisationer som arbetar med frågor som rör skolan Deltar i debatten i media. Det debatteras ofta om ifall friskoleföretag ska få göra vinst. om det ska få finnas religiösa friskolor segregation
