Vinaya Shakya presented records of notable Mt. Everest climbers including Sir Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay as the first climbers to reach the summit in 1953. Other records included Ang Rita Sherpa who summited Everest 10 times without oxygen assistance and Apa Sherpa who reached the summit 21 times, the most of any person. The presentation also recognized several "firsts" by Nepali climbers such as Pasang Lhamu Sherpa as the first Nepali woman to summit Everest.
