David Duggan incorporated Viral Network in January 2011 with one client onboard and just two employees. Eighteen
months later, Duggan has grown his client list 27 times over and has 10 employees working out of their head office in
downtown Vancouver, with five more
working out of New Jersey in the US.
David has combined sophisticated
technologies with cutting-edge online
communication strategies and an
expert team and added in a load of
industry knowledge and hutzpah all
with one goal in mind: "to change the
way investor relations is done today."
“What makes us unique is our ability
to grow a company's investor
following organically in the form of
email subscribers and social media
followers by using the most
pioneering strategies on the web, as well as linking them to our network of over 50,000 investors worldwide,” explains
Duggan. “Since the web is such a huge information resource, it’s natural for investors in today’s market to research
their investment decisions online. We’ve made it a goal to pinpoint everywhere online that an investor can go to either
research or talk about stocks.”
“We are able to track all of this through our analytics and show how our efforts and technology are directly impacting
our client’s online presence and sale of shares through a number of different tools," adds Grady Flint, the Canadian
startup's chief technology officer. "In the online space we track views, mentions, sentiment, reach, growth and overall
presence. Using these analytics we are able to make educated recommendations, better than anyone else in the
industry. The information that we make accessible online to interested investors on a public company opportunity is
unsurpassed by anyone else because it is real time data.”
Duggan says he and his team ensure that Viral Network and all of its services evolve "almost daily" in order to stay
ahead of everyone else on behalf of both their clients and their investor contacts.
He summarizes: “Viral News was born so that our clients’ messages could be communicated as effectively and
efficiently as possible. We, and the companies who will follow our lead, will put an end to the boiler rooms.”
