2. Our Chair
• The Chair of philosophy was founded in 1974 .
•The Chair of philosophy became graduating one from September, 2011
•The first student admission to new speciality “Sociology” (profile -
“Sociology of management”) took place this year.
• The Chair of philosophy was united with another one - the Chair of
general and social psychology at 09.01.2011 and from the time on it bears
it’s modern designation

4. Our scientific directions:

The Chair has sociological laboratory “Soc-i-um” in its composition.
This allows to carry out a sociological, social and economic, social
and politic and psychological researches like the following ones:
•“The state and development perspectives of modern biotechnology and of
introducing of biotechnologies in the city of Kirov and in Kirov region”
(the research includes sociological interrogations of population and experts, analytical
reports and guidance)
