Today’s Message
DOGGED DEVOTION
“In Your presence is fullness of joy.” (Psalm 16:11)

M aggie doesn’t care much for television. She would rather look out a window than
stare at a small screen. Reading doesn’t thrill her either. She has been known to
“chew” on books, but only in the strictly literal sense. Nevertheless, when Jay and I read or
watch TV, Maggie participates. Even though she doesn’t enjoy what we’re doing, she
enjoys being with us. Maggie is our very devoted dog. More than anything (well, just about
anything) Maggie wants to be with us.
The word dogged means “determined and persistent.” These words describe Maggie.
They should also describe us. When we are devoted to God, we want to be with Him even
when He’s doing something that makes no sense to us. We may ask, “Why, Lord?” when
He seems angry (Ps. 88:14) or when He seems to be napping (44:23), or when the wicked
prosper (Jer. 12:1). But when we remain devoted to God despite our questions, we find
fullness of joy in His presence (Ps. 16:11).

Jesus knew that we would have questions. To prepare us for them, He urged us to
abide in His love (John 15:9-10). Even when God’s ways are inexplicable, His love is
reliable. So we remain doggedly devoted to Him.

Never should our love be just a word,
A passing phase, a brief emotion;
But love that honors Christ our Lord
Responds to Him with deep devotion.
We find joy when we learn to abide in
Jesus’ love.
To begin our prayer time together, we ask you to repeat this prayer with us each day...
“O gracious and heavenly Father, in name of Jesus Christ I pray for Pastor Avinash
and Rajiv and every member of their families and the entire staff of Well Fortified
Intercessors Army and Living God Group and their families. Lord keeps them safe
from all the evil powers and no harm should come to them and every one who are
working in the ministry. Lord Jesus guides each step and shows the right path on
which they will take. Dear Father God you have called them to do your will. Protect
them and guide them in whatever they do. I pray shower your blessings on them so
that they will be able to fulfill the work of our Lord Jesus Christ. Father God give
them strength and power and health. My heavenly Father keeps them away from all
kinds of dangers and gives them shelter under your wings. In the name of the Lord
Jesus Christ, I command a hedge of protection to be around their home and property
today and I ask that warrior angels sent by the you true Father God would be placed
to stand guard at any holes that might be in that hedge. I place the full armors of God
on them, and I ask that the light of the Lord Jesus shine through them this day. In
the name of Jesus I ask-Amen”

Pray specifically today for people you know who need to know the saving and
healing power of Jesus Christ in their lives. Many people are suffering – spiritually,
emotionally, and physically – let us stand before our Mighty God today on their
behalf!

“Heavenly Father I pray the blood of Jesus over all the partners and supporters of

of protection against the wiles of the enemy and I pray for your blessing and favor to
be upon them. I ask in Jesus name that you Father God would supply streams of
resources so that Pastor Avinash and Rajiv will be able to accomplish all that you
have called them to do.”

home remedies for some small health issues

G arlic is a very beneficial herb with irregular roots, condensed, flattened stem and
narrow, flat leaves.
The bulb consists of bulblets called cloves, enclosed in a thick whitish, glistening and
transparent covering.
Garlic is used widely in India and it is known as the home doctor here. It is commonly
used as the best home remedies for some small health related problems.

Role of Garlic (Lahsun) in Health and Beauty:

 Garlic in useful in a variety of skin disorders. Pimples disappear without a scar when rubbed
with raw garlic several times a day. Even very persistent forms of acne, in some adults, have
been healed with garlic. The external use of garlic helps to clear the skin of spots pimples
and boils.
 Garlic is a useful remedy for the digestive system. Crushed cloves of garlic may be infused
in water or milk and taken for all disorders of digestion. It has an antiseptic effect and is an
excellent remedy for infectious diseases and inflammations of the stomach and intestine.
 Garlic juice has beneficial effect on the entire system. The ethers in garlic juice are so potent
and penetrating that they help dissolve accumulation of mucus in the sinus.
 It has been used as an antiseptic in wounds and ulcerations with beneficial results. cavities,
bronchial tubes and the lungs. They help in the expulsion of poisons from body through
pores of the skin.
 Studies found that garlic even offers protection against the influenza virus.
 Garlic normalizes blood sugar as in diabetes mellitus.
 Garlic can help in the normalization of body functions. This means that it can lower the
blood pressure in high blood pressure sufferers and can increase it in cases of low blood
pressure. The same appears to be true of different body functions not just blood pressure.
 Garlic can stimulate your immune system. In one study, people who ate two to three heads
of garlic a day for three weeks show significantly more activity in special white blood cells
that fight tumors.
 It may prevent heart attack. If a patient takes garlic after a heart attack, the cholesterol level
comes down. Though the earlier damage may not be repaired, the chances of new attacks are
reduced.
 Garlic aids weak digestion because it stimulates the secretion of gastric juices.
 It is also useful in treating various forms of diarrhea. One garlic capsule taken thrice a day is
usually sufficient to correct mild cases of diarrhea of dysentery.

For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost. (Luke 19:10)
In the name of Jesus and in agreement with the Word, I command sickness to go. I
command disease and bondage to go in Jesus mighty name. Father, by the power of the
Holy Spirit, I pray that the anointing for healing will be released right now in Jesus’ name
and that from this moment on healing, restoration and health will come to these peoples
listed above. This I pray in Jesus wonderful and glorious name. Amen.
