Searching by Advanced Keyword

Choose advanced keyword search.

This is the advanced keyword search,

which allows you to create complex searches.

Topic: Is intelligence nature or nurture?

You can combine a subject and keyword search.

The first line contains a subject search,

using the phrase “nature and nurture”.

The parenthesis causes the terms to be searched as a phrase.

The first and second lines are combined

using the Boolean Operator: AND.

The second line is a keyword search,

which searches for the term intelligence.

To limit your search to a special collection, use this drop down menu.

Use the sort drop down menu to arrange your search results.

You can limit your search to a specific location,

Notice the search is repeated on the results screen.

The search produced 19 results.

Doing the same search in Summit produced 76 results.
