 Received work requests in the form of SHIPALTS, MACALTS, AER's, 2Kilo's, 2-Lima's,
Automated Work Request (AWR), and CASREP's.
 Conducted technical research that included ship checks using blueprints, schematic drawings
NSTM's and other technical documents to determine the scope and accuracy of each request, the
system to be repaired, parameters of each system, general material requirements and specific level
of work.
 Research utilizing Regional Maintenance Automated Information System (RMAIS), and Navy
Enterprise Maintenance Automated Information System (NEMAIS).
 Enter job estimate costs and material requirements.
 Responsible for coordinating, tracking and reporting progress on Fleet Maintenance Activity jobs,
ensuring all jobs, associated testing and certifications are completed prior to Key Event/Milestones

 Work Specifications are used for the repair of DDG, Class U.S. Navy ships and associated craft.
These work specifications are used to accomplish ship repair work by private ship repair
contractor's (KTR) and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (IMF) personnel. Analyze, research,
and determined all the technical aspects of complex ship repair and modernization projects, make
independent decisions in reference to the minimum work requirements, required references,
associated services, special tools and equipment.
