CLASS DESCRIPTIONS:
Battlemind - Helping Families transition from Deployment by discussing the changes that may have
taken place during the deployment to the Family member and Soldier. This class will help the Family
member to understand some of the motivations/reasons for choices their Soldier may make when he/
she gets home.
Children & Reunion - Useful tools to help children cope with the stress associated with re-deployment.
Family Resiliency - One definition of resiliency is the ability to bounce back. Reunion brings challenges
and our Families will need to "bounce back" to a new normal.
Keep Your Soldier Safe - Social Media (facebook, twitter, etc)
is a great way to keep in touch, but the information you post/

                                          safely use these tools.
Money Matters - Tips to prepare for when the deployment
                                           money stops.
Life Balance - Presented by the Chaplain Corps, students will
receive important tips on how to obtain/maintain Life
Balance during the stressful time of reunion and
                                            reintegration.
Return & Reunion Workshop - Reunion can bring mixed
emotions; we are excited that our Trooper is home, but how
do we reintegrate them back into our lives?

Common Sense Media is dedicated to improving the lives of kids
and families by providing the trustworthy information, education,
and independent voice they need to thrive in a world of media and
technology. We exist because our nation's children spend more time
with media and digital activities than they do with their families or in
school, which profoundly impacts their social, emotional, and
physical development. We provide trustworthy information and
tools, as well as an independent forum, so that families can have a
choice and a voice about the media they consume.

CLASS DESCRIPTIONS: Battlemind - Helping Families transition from Deployment by discussing the changes that may have taken place during the deployment to the Family member and Soldier. This class will help the Family member to understand some of the motivations/reasons for choices their Soldier may make when he/ she gets home. Children & Reunion - Useful tools to help children cope with the stress associated with re-deployment. Family Resiliency - One definition of resiliency is the ability to bounce back. Reunion brings challenges and our Families will need to "bounce back" to a new normal. Keep Your Soldier Safe - Social Media (facebook, twitter, etc) is a great way to keep in touch, but the information you post/ tweet could be putting our Soldiers in danger. Learn how to safely use these tools. Money Matters - Tips to prepare for when the deployment money stops. Life Balance - Presented by the Chaplain Corps, students will receive important tips on how to obtain/maintain Life Balance during the stressful time of reunion and reintegration. Return & Reunion Workshop - Reunion can bring mixed emotions; we are excited that our Trooper is home, but how do we reintegrate them back into our lives? Reunion for Families - Provides Families with an understanding of the reunion process, transition in roles and relationships and the importance of communication.
