2. The Quran which Muslims believe is the word of God was revealed to the last prophet and the Seal of all prophets, prophet Muhammad ( may peace and blessings be upon them all)as a Guidance and a Mercy to Humanity. The Qur’an is a Divine Book that has remained unaltered for a period of over 1400 years, perfect, majestic, without anyone being able to imitate or match its eloquence, content, its excellence.
3. The Qur’an was sent down by Allah in the Month of Ramadan, and then was gradually revealed to the Prophet Muhammad ( peace and blessings be upon him) as the events were unfolding.
4. The Qur’an was revealed to the prophet Muhammad ( peace and blessings be upon him) over a period of 23 years. Allaah The Almighty Says (what means): {And We have revealed to you, [O Muhammad], the Book in truth, confirming that which preceded it of the Scripture and as a criterion over it.} [Quran 5: 48]
5. The only way to get real peace of mind is by the contemplation of God and His blessings. Allah says in the Holy Qur’an [... Truly it is in the remembrance of Allah that hearts find peace.] (Ar-Ra`d 13:28)
6. Allah in the Quran teaches us that when we feel depressed, anxious, or upset, we should remember: ”Have no fear, for Allah is with us”. Tell yourself: “Don’t be sad, Allah is with me.”
7. One way to remember Allah is to read His Book, the Quran, which is described as a cure for the illnesses of the heart. Allah says what gives the meaning of: [O mankind, there has come to you a protection from your Lord and a healing for what is in your hearts; and for those who believe, a guidance and a mercy.] (Yunus 10:57) [We send down in the Quran that which is a healing and a mercy for those who believe.] (Al-Israa’ 17: 82).
8. [Assuredly in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find rest.] (Ar-Ra`d 13:28)
