4. HAPPY VALLEY PARK
The project is located at the Happy Valley, downtown State College, Pennsylvania. The surrounding area
is occupied with restaurants, gift shops, and convenience stores. The site is inside the walking distance of
Pennsylvania State University and can fill the missing link of green system.
The design of the park is following three features: “lawn“, “allee“, and “grove“. The park is trying to provide
relaxation, pleasure, and happiness with the plaza, storm water and hills.
