2. My Supermarket Register
• It will ask you to register
to the website. It will
require your name and
post code and the email
address you have
already made.
• Also you will need a to
create a password
3. Signing up
• Enter your postcode your name and the email
address you made with us and enter a password.
4. Welcome message
• This is the welcome that you will receive once you
clicked register. Click continue button to continue
your shopping.
5. My Supermarket
• This the home page of my Supermarket this is
where you can choose your products and
compare different prices.
6. My Supermarket using the search bar.
• You can search the
products you want by
using the search bar.
• My Supermarkets has
no limitations of its
offers, the list of
different choices you
can make.
7. Selecting products
• To select the products,
place your curser over
the product and left
click on the mouse.
8. Comparison
• When you have clicked the image it will show a
comparison between the five cheapest shops within
the UK. These are Tesco, Waitrose, Ocado,
Sainsbury's and ASDA.
9. Adding to basket
• To add the item to your basket click the add to basket
button.
• After you have clicked the button it will show that
you have added the item to the basket.
10. Items in basket
• On the bottom right of your screen you will see the
total price of the products that you have add to
your basket
11. Viewing your basket
• To see what is in your
basket click on the view
basket button as shown
in the print screen.
12. My basket
• This is my basket, I have selected bread, your
basket will be different to mine.
13. How to change stores
• To change your supermarket provider, click on their
logo.
14. Switching stores
• If you have a store that is cheaper with your
product you would ultimately chose the
cheaper supermarket to purchase from.
15. The selected store
• My supermarket has chosen ASDA to buy from
but I want to buy from Sainbury’s. To do this we
click switch button underneath Sainbury’s to
have it as your main store to buy from.

16. Cheapest products
• As you can see in the image below, we are shopping
with Sainbury's and we have added more than one
product to our basket. My supermarket is showing us
that ASDA is cheaper overall.
17. Switching
• My supermarket shows that if you choose ASDA, it
will save you £1.62. where as Tesco will save us 45p,
obviously we will choose ASDA, as it is the cheapest.
18. Checking out
• Click the checkout button and it will say
from the supermarket you have chosen.
19. • Now that we have selected ASDA, you can see
that it’s the cheapest overall.
20. Final Savings
• A pig will appear and will tell you how much
you have saved.
21. Making a account with the
supermarkets
• If you have not got a account with the
supermarket shown in my supermarket then
click on the message saying no I don't have an
account and I would like to make one.
22. Entering personal details
• As before in the previous lessons enter in your
personal details into the boxes to make an account
with the supermarket you have chosen to buy from.
• Click register after you have filled the boxes in.
24. Payment
• After registering with the supermarket this
message will appear and will tell you that payment
is ready to be made to the store you are shopping
with.
25. Redirecting
• My supermarket will bring you to your selected supermarket, once
you are there sign in with an Sainsbury's account if you have one. If
not you will need to create one by pressing register.
26. Your chosen supermarket basket
• Once you have logged
into your account with
the supermarket you
have chosen (i.e.
Sainsburys) it will
display the items you
have chosen on my
supermarket to be
purchased and
delivered.
27. Minimal orders
• For most supermarkets
it will only allow you to
purchase £25 worth of
products this is not
advisable if you want to
just buy one product
but you could do your
weekly shopping using
this website.
