We had to research into where our idea would fit. After looking at television we decided our idea would be more suited to an online portal. We then looked at magazine websites. We felt that NME would be perfect due to the kind of artists we want to use. Online they already have sit down interviews with big named artists which is fine for artists who are well known and already have a fan base as they are attracted to the videos just because of who is in it. However with new unheard of bands we need to engage the audience, hence our stylized interview, where we will show the bands unique individual styles giving the audience the feeling that they have met the band.
Our first artists are two sisters Leanne and Shannon who express their experiences and observations on life through their own song writing. They are currently working with a producer who has been the mix engineer for Katy Perry, Kelly Clarkson, The Rolling Stones and various others and with him, they are going to be recording a couple of their songs again for radio release.
Our second band is made up of Rhys, Luke, James andJason who are a alternative rock band from East Kent that's has a contemporary rock sound.
For this band, we would like it to be a more studio based production. We will have them performing, whilst having colored paints being hit on them in slow motion. We’re also thinking of setting one of the locations in the top level of ink bar, where it has neon lights. The lights, the paints, and the unique use of camera angles will help create an overall enthuastic piece of video which reflects their fast paced music. The set will also include a number of female models dancing around them.
Finally we have a four piece indie band, with a mature distinctive sound. The band is made up of Tom. Scott, Simon and Matt. They have a unique style which marries various styles of pop, jazz, reggae and rock. The guys have just recorded and released an album of original material.
1920’s based Party. The boys will be in their tuxedo with their hats and cigars. All looking at one girl who is a dancer.
