Russian-Slavic Charity Cultural Festival «IFI Kids»
The “IFI Kids”festival is a great event aimed at promoting the richness and diversity of the Russian and Slavic cultures in Australia, as well as  recognising the latest innovations in Russian science  and other industries. All the funds raised at the Festival will be directed towards helping children in Australia and Russia. The Festival is be held on 26-27 November 2011 in Sydney, Australia. The Festival is being organised with the support from the government of Russian Federation  represented by the Russian Embassy in  Australia and Consulate General of Russia in Sydney. The Festival will be held in Sydney Olympic Park, which was built specially for the Olympic Games in 2000. Olympic Park has a show pavilion «TheDome» – the largest undercover complex in Southern Hemisphere. It ‘s diameter is 90 m, and the area is 7200 square meters. Fundraising for sick kids Promoting the public image of Russia. Promoting Slavic cultures in Australia. Providing useful and helpful information for Russians in Australia. Aims of the Festival Russian-Slavic Charity Cultural Festival «IFI Kids»
The main goal of the Festival is fundraising. All collected funds will be divided between the charity projects for children in Australia and Russia.   In Australia, The Children’s Hospital at Westmead  was chosen for this program. The Hospital is located at Westmead, about 28 km from Sydney city. The Children's Hospital at Westmead is a stand-alone service dedicated to paediatrics.  The Children’s Hospital at Westmead will receive 70% of all funds raised. Charity In Russia, the charity program will pay for an operation vitally important to saving a life of a child. We are partnering with Kids Outreach International, who are experienced in charity work in Russia. 30% of the raised funds will be devoted to  this part of the program. Charity Russian-Slavic Charity Cultural Festival «IFI Kids» We are also considering partnership with other children charities.
One of the goals of the Festival is to promote the public image of Russia in Australia. We will use a number of different approaches to achieve this: In the exhibition room will feature large stands with detailed information regarding the Olympic Games 2014 in Sochi and the APEC summit 2012 held in Vladivostok. The Image of Russia There are currently talks taking place with a number of large Russian companies, commercially interested in the Australian market, to  take part in the event. Russian-Slavic Charity Cultural Festival «IFI Kids»
Various Russian travel agents will  be participants at the event, promoting  some of the most interesting places in Russia. The festival will also provide some essential visa information  as part of the Consulate General representatives’  role at the event. The video screens in the opposite ends of the pavilion will be showing a movie featuring the latest innovations in Russian aircraft construction – SukhoiSuperjet 100 and Bе-200. One of the vitally important aims of the Festival is the support for the Russian-speaking people in Australia. The exhibition pavilion will be occupied by a wide range of  social and commercial organizations: Russian delis and restaurants, while advertising their business, will have an opportunity to organize food tasting and sell their products. The visitors to the Festival will be able to get a brief consultation from Russian-speaking doctors, lawyers, real estate agents, employment and immigration agents. Information for Russian-speaking people Russian-Slavic Charity Cultural Festival «IFI Kids»
Free participation will be given to the following organizations:  Social organizations, Religious organizations, Sport clubs and dance studios, Russian schools, others Information for Russian-speaking people Russian-Slavic Charity Cultural Festival «IFI Kids»
Entertainment The Festival is a great entertainment experience for the whole family. Kids will find jumping castles, clowns, face-painting and lots of other fun activities. Adults will be able to take part in competitions and try  their luck at the lottery. Spectacular fireworks will close the show.  Russian-Slavic Charity Cultural Festival «IFI Kids»
Finance The Festival’s revenue will come from the following sources: Festival admission fee, $15 per person (35%); Fundraising lottery with  prizes provided by the sponsors(60%); Donation boxes(5%). All money will be donated to charities: 70% – to The Children’s Hospital at Westmead  in Australia, 30 % –to the charity organization for helping a child from Russia. The money will be collected by an independent organization «Kids Outreach International». It is expected to raise$200000. Russian-Slavic Charity Cultural Festival «IFI Kids»
Summary We expect to raise $200 000. All funds will be donated to charity. The festival’s primary objective is to promote Russian and Slavic cultures. The Russian-speaking people will be able to learn a lot about the Russian businesses and social organizations in Australia. The “IFI Kids”festival is a great event aimed at promoting the richness and diversity of the Russian and Slavic cultures in Australia, as well as recognising the latest innovations in Russian science and other industries. All the funds raised at the Festival will be directed towards helping children in Australia and Russia. The Festival is be held on 26-27 November 2011 in Sydney, Australia. The Festival is being organised with the support from the government of Russian Federation represented by the Russian Embassy in Australia and Consulate General of Russia in Sydney. The Children's Hospital at Westmead is a stand-alone service dedicated to paediatrics. The Children’s Hospital at Westmead will receive 70% of all funds raised. Finance The Festival’s revenue will come from the following sources: Festival admission fee, $15 per person (35%); Fundraising lottery with prizes provided by the sponsors(60%); Donation boxes(5%). All money will be donated to charities: 70% – to The Children’s Hospital at Westmead in Australia, 30 % –to the charity organization for helping a child from Russia.
