- 25. Once upon a time … I’m the fastest runner. That’s not true. The fastest runner is me!
- 26. They decided to settle the argument. But How??? Fine! Ok, let’s have a race.
- 27. Poor guy! Even if I take a nap, he could not catch up with me.
- 28. He sat under the tree and soon fell asleep…
- 29. The Tortoise took this opportunity and soon finished the race, emerging as the undisputed champ.
- 30. The Rabbit woke up and realized that he'd lost the race.
- 31. The moral of the story is that… … • Slow & Steady Wins the Race. This is the version of the story that we've all grown up with…
- 32. The story continues … • The Rabbit introspected & realized that he had been Overconfident, Careless and Took things for granted.
- 33. So Rabbit asks the Tortoise …
- 34. This time, undoubtedly the Rabbit won by several miles…
- 35. The moral of the story is that… … • Fast and consistent will always beat the slow and steady. It's good to be slow and steady; but it's better to be fast and reliable.
- 36. But the story doesn't end here … • This time the Tortoise introspected & realized that he can’t beat Rabbit in current format. How can I win the Rabbit?
- 37. So now this is Tortoise’s smart turn to ask the Rabbit… Sure! Can we have another race? This time we’ll go through a different route.
- 38. They started off… But this time finishing line was a couple of kilometres on the other side of the river. Goal
- 39. So what about the race??? Now what to do?
- 40. The moral of the story is that… Working to your strengths will not only get you noticed, but will also create opportunities for growth and advancement.
- 41. The story still hasn't ended … • The Rabbit and the Tortoise, by this time, had become pretty good friends and they did the usual introspection.

- 46. The moral of the story is that… • Teamwork is mainly about situational leadership, letting the person with the relevant core competency for a situation take leadership.
