4. Student Profile
All semester we have read student profiles of other students. Now you
will create your own profile. Reflect on yourself as a student. Did you
have a struggle or particular situation that could have been a chapter
within a study skills textbook?
Decide what your student story is and write the article modeling it in the
same style and length as the FOCUS profiles. You should write your
story in 3rd person, writing about yourself as an outsider observing
yourself. Tell your story!
These profiles will be submitted only to me and not read by classmates.

be creative while producing a quality, honest
reflection of what your FOCUS is in college.
Write your story in third person so it sounds
like the textbook profiles. Also, be sure and
include graphics that reflect what you’re
writing about, again like the profiles did.
8. Your profile should contain:

• Your Student Story and Focus Theme
• Pictures/Graphics that illustrate your story (at
least 3)
On Blackboard there is a PowerPoint somewhat
formatted as a template for this assignment. You
are not required to use this but it is available to
you if you find it helpful. The main thing is you
draft a quality profile and make an attempt to
make it look as professional as possible.
