Agenda items:
1. Results achieved in the project by partner organizations. Discussing the Individual Partner
Organization Submission Sheet materials and proposed pictures from their list of cultural heritage to
booklet, 15 minutes for each partner presentation:
           - Asociatia Bridge Language Study House (Romania)
           - CPZ-International, Center za promocijo znanja, d.o.o. (Slovenia)
           - Milos Educational Women’s Collaboration for Activities in Tourism (Greece)
           - Centro Studi e Formazione Villa Montesca (Italy) – their submited materials refered
           - Institute of Mathematics and Informatics in Vilnius University (Lithuania)
presenting also the new status of the Institute as a part of the Vilnius University
The available text collected is around 14 pages describing the partners’ organizations, the lists of
their cultural heritage used and the opinions about mobility. Not all partners have submitted the
opinions’ part, they promised to send it additionally. All of partners have a lot of pictures for
illustrations; a careful selection of illustrations is needed for preparing the booklet regarding the
content and the quality of digital picture.

2. Open discussion about the list of cultural heritages in each partner country to be used
in the project and problem analysis about cultural heritages at local level in each partner’s
country

Preliminary studies on “ADOPT YOUR HERITAGE” booklet materials: a scope, language, and
illustrations. The questions what have been raised by Nerute for discussion were the following:

           What is our target audience?
Electronic plus printed version? (they are not identical)
To what total scope we have to be oriented?
English version plus in 6 national languages?
Thematic classification of cultural heritage or by the separate countries?
Who will produce the final version of the booklet?

After the extended discussion it was agreed on the following answers:

The target audience of a booklet is a general public having an interest in cultural
heritage applications and usage, not only a specific audience of teachers and trainers
more interested in methodologies and a possible training curriculum which has to be
oriented to the level of understanding of learners/trainees, rather different in separate
           countries.
It was decided to issue the electronic plus printed version (using all the benefits they
provide to users). Additionally, prof. L.Telksnys (Lithuania) suggested including some
audio or video records where it is possible. It was accepted that Romanian and Turkey
heritage will be much better presented including such multimedia files.
The scope will depend on the implementation version: the electronic version (online and
off line) can be as big as we want but the paper version has to be limited to several pages
leaflet because there are no resources foreseen for a bigger issue in the partners’
budgets. The limited edition of e. version can be produced as CD for dissemination
purposes. The paper version must include all internet addresses connected to ADHER
project activities and all materials available online.
Languages – an extended and a short version of dissemination material will be produced
in English first of all, then each partner’ country will translate it into the national
language. The result: English plus issues in the 6 national languages: TR, GR, IT, SL, RO,
          LT.
The classification was decided to do by the separate countries not by thematic of
cultural heritage included because in such way it could be more usable for development of
a cultural tourism and exchange of good practice lessons.
Everybody will be involved in producing the final version of the booklet: preparing and
editing the English versions (short and long) then on own responsibility to issuing the
          versions in the national language.

3. Expressing ideas about promotion measures to increase civil society involvement

Presentation by Jurate Bucmyte (Lithuania) showed how the ideas of adopting the unique
cultural heritage in Curonian Spit could be implemented in everyday life: producing
specific signs, T-shorts, family’ weathervanes, in a real life and in a virtual space, say using
       the Facebook social networks.

4. Defining the responsibilities for every partner for the next months.

First of all the missing materials on mobility’s and opinions expressed by partners has to be sent to
Nerute and Barbara. Everybody will be involved in producing the final version of the booklet:
preparing and editing the English versions (short and long). Marc will be asked to do the final
editing. Then on own responsibility of the partner is to issue the versions in the national language.
Merve and Nerute are responsible for creating this meeting Minutes.
The next Meeting is planned to be organized in Slovenia, December. The exact date has to be
agreed.

5. Experience on some points of the Lithuanian cultural heritage adopted in the project.

Excursion of the Old Vilnius University and Library, the oldest and the richest library in
Lithuania, located at the same place from the very beginning.
Guided urban tour, visiting Vilnius Historic Centre (one of the items included into the list of
       Lithuanian Cultural Heritage)
Listening the Lithuanian folk songs performed by the Lithuanian Folk Ensemble
Trakai visit with a guide. Trakai is the historical capital of Lithuania, nowedays it is a small
town known as the “town of lakes”, a place of touristic attraction. It has a unique castle of
the early 15 c. The Castle situated on an island in the middle of a lake was visited as now
there is the Museum. Lunch at the restaurant in Trakai in order to taste the national dishes of
       Karaim minority in Lithuania.
Closing the Vilnius meeting was at the restaurant “Forto Dvaras” with tasting the various
       Lithuanian traditional dishes.
September 17-19, the days of the capital city of Vilnius, residents and guests were invited to
the "Festival of Gediminas”. Lithuanian Grand Duke Gediminas’ day’s tradition still upheld a
feast at the weekend closest to the autumn equinox. The idea is to revive this beautiful
tradition of Vilnius city and the return of cultural life and development of autumn festival in
Vilnius. Exciting three-day program for cultural, entertainment, sporting events and
performances was made. “Mystery of Fire” was one of those events visited by the participants
of Vilnius meeting on the Sunday evening.
6. Evaluating the workshop and the meeting by the participants
Lithuania smells history I think it's very nice and interesting city. Lovely and clean streets, kind
people, beautiful girls, historical buildings must be seen. I absolutely like everything from the
culture to the people. Trakai has the most beautiful nature I have ever seen, never forgot Trakai,
Vilnius. We had a perfect trip and felt like living a fairy tale. See you another time (Bahar)

Not all partners have submitted the opinions’ part, they promised to send it additionally. All of partners have a lot of pictures for illustrations; a careful selection of illustrations is needed for preparing the booklet regarding the content and the quality of digital picture. 2. Open discussion about the list of cultural heritages in each partner country to be used in the project and problem analysis about cultural heritages at local level in each partner’s country Preliminary studies on “ADOPT YOUR HERITAGE” booklet materials: a scope, language, and illustrations. The questions what have been raised by Nerute for discussion were the following: What is our target audience? Electronic plus printed version? (they are not identical) To what total scope we have to be oriented? English version plus in 6 national languages? Thematic classification of cultural heritage or by the separate countries? Who will produce the final version of the booklet? After the extended discussion it was agreed on the following answers: The target audience of a booklet is a general public having an interest in cultural heritage applications and usage, not only a specific audience of teachers and trainers more interested in methodologies and a possible training curriculum which has to be oriented to the level of understanding of learners/trainees, rather different in separate countries. It was decided to issue the electronic plus printed version (using all the benefits they
  • 2. provide to users). Additionally, prof. L.Telksnys (Lithuania) suggested including some audio or video records where it is possible. It was accepted that Romanian and Turkey heritage will be much better presented including such multimedia files. The scope will depend on the implementation version: the electronic version (online and off line) can be as big as we want but the paper version has to be limited to several pages leaflet because there are no resources foreseen for a bigger issue in the partners’ budgets. The limited edition of e. version can be produced as CD for dissemination purposes. The paper version must include all internet addresses connected to ADHER project activities and all materials available online. Languages – an extended and a short version of dissemination material will be produced in English first of all, then each partner’ country will translate it into the national language. The result: English plus issues in the 6 national languages: TR, GR, IT, SL, RO, LT. The classification was decided to do by the separate countries not by thematic of cultural heritage included because in such way it could be more usable for development of a cultural tourism and exchange of good practice lessons. Everybody will be involved in producing the final version of the booklet: preparing and editing the English versions (short and long) then on own responsibility to issuing the versions in the national language. 3. Expressing ideas about promotion measures to increase civil society involvement Presentation by Jurate Bucmyte (Lithuania) showed how the ideas of adopting the unique cultural heritage in Curonian Spit could be implemented in everyday life: producing specific signs, T-shorts, family’ weathervanes, in a real life and in a virtual space, say using the Facebook social networks. 4. Defining the responsibilities for every partner for the next months. First of all the missing materials on mobility’s and opinions expressed by partners has to be sent to Nerute and Barbara. Everybody will be involved in producing the final version of the booklet: preparing and editing the English versions (short and long). Marc will be asked to do the final editing. Then on own responsibility of the partner is to issue the versions in the national language. Merve and Nerute are responsible for creating this meeting Minutes.
