1. Trajano
Trajano was a roman
emperor. He was the first
Roman emperor that wasn´t
from Italy. He was born
in ITALICA, Santiponce,
(close to Seville today).
It was named Emperor in
Nerva in 98.
Trajan is best known for his extensive program of
public buildings, which reformed the city of
Rome and made many lasting monuments such as the
Forum of Trajan and Trajan's Market and Trajan's
Column.
Like his father, Trajan was
faithful to the Flavian
house. Young man and
worker, ascended in the scale
merit of the Roman army,
serving in some of the most
controversial parts of the
imperial frontier, in various
parts of the empire, from Hispania to his native
Syria, the Danube and Germania.
