La enfermedad de Graves-Basedow es una enfermedad autoinmune que causa hipertiroidismo. Puede tratarse con medicamentos antitiroideos, yodo radiactivo, cirugía o una combinación de estos. Los síntomas incluyen oftalmopatía, bocio, taquicardia y dermopatía. El tratamiento adecuado puede controlar los síntomas y la enfermedad, aunque requiere seguimiento de por vida.
