The Arakan Human Rights and Development Organisation (AHRDO) is a non-profit organization founded in 2011 by Arakanese individuals to monitor and document human rights abuses, promote development, and inform communities about issues in Arakan State, Myanmar. AHRDO's vision is for equitable development that protects the environment and cultural sites. Its mission is to educate communities about social, economic, political, and cultural oppression faced by Arakanese people due to government projects. AHRDO carries out activities like publications, advocacy, and networking to raise awareness of these issues within Arakan State and internationally.
