For this reason, it is now common to see wikis used inside corporations and organizations. Imagine the following scenario: There is a large corporation using an internally developed software application to manage its accounts. Two-thousand people inside the corporation use this application to enter and access data. The program is 25 years old, has never been documented very well and drives people nuts. Training is done by word of mouth. An environment like this is perfect for a wiki. The 2,000 people using the program can build their own documentation a little bit at a time. Each time someone learns something, they can toss a sentence or two into the wiki to let other people understand how to use the feature. Over time, the 2,000 users will build complete documentation for the entire application. The English Wikipedia edition passed the 2,000,000 article mark on September 9, 2007 with a total of over 609 million words, roughly fifteen times as many as the largest edition of Encyclop

Type: Human Graph. Ask people to get up and stand along a continuum to express agreement/understanding of a concept or idea or question.Question: Integrating a social media strategy for our organization is absolutely the right thing to do right now.Directions:1. If you strongly agree, go to the right side of the room, if you strongly disagree go to the left side of the room. If they're on the fence, got to the middle. If they fall somewhere in between, tell them to find a place on the continuum that reflects their opinion.2. Start with the extremes and ask people to tell you why they agree or disagree.3. Give people the option to change their position on the continuum after hearing from a few extreme, but differing opinions.4. Ask people in the middle what they need to hear, do, or say to decide
