Lead Business Analyst: Ecommerce 2012 - August 2016
● Gathered and managed business requirements for E-commerce improvements to digital pension offering
using Wireframes, Prototypes and Use Case Model methodology
● Mapped current (‘as-is’ ) and future business (‘to-be’) processes for enhancements to key pension
product.
● Pro-active in escalating potential risks, issues and dependencies.
● Established as key business analyst in various projects from initiation to delivery.
● Worked closely with 3rd party supplier (Fidelity) to update SWIFT trade messages to a new format to
improve system performance.

Lead Analyst : Dividend Mailing with new Registrars 2009 - 2010
● Gathered and managed business requirements from stakeholders in RoI, Germany and Canada.
● Chaired meetings, tracked actions and highlighted risks and issues to Senior Management.
● Worked to very tight deadlines - this was the first dividend paid by Capita . Many issues arose as they
had not fully appreciated the complexity of SL data when migrating data over from the outgoing Registrar.
● Built strong working relationship with new Registrar (Capita).
Lead Analyst : Tracing exercise of members not paid benefits 2008 - 2009
● Gathered and managed business requirements from stakeholders in RoI, Germany and Canada.
2. ● Worked closely with 3rd party company( Georgeson) to trace individuals (who were due shares/benefits
after Standard Life demutualised).
● Worked in small agile team to deliver this program which Georgeson said was one of the most complex
programs they had been involved in due to the complexity of the data and the different legislation across
the 4 territories of UK, RoI, Germany and Canada.
● Played a key role in the success of this program which united over 70% of the unclaimed assets with the
correct beneficiary.
Lead Analyst : Demutualisation Project 2005 - 2006
● Gathered and documented requirements from different business areas within the Insurance part of the
Group.
● Worked closely with IT to prioritise and address defects.
● Developed good working relationship with the business, listened and tried to understand from their
perspective but also challenged without making them feel defensive.
● Seen as key lead in addressing post demutualisation issues and in documenting an ‘Errors and
Omissions’ Process for the business to follow for the members that could not be traced due to bad data
on the system.
Lead Analyst: Address Project (Life Assurance, Maturities, Standard Life Bank) 2004 - 2005
● Produced requirements for major re-design of address system used across various parts of the Standard
Life Group.
● Established new agile way of working which resulted in quick delivery of a quality system.
Lead Analyst: Single Customer View for Marketing 2003 - 2004
● Responsible for gathering requirements to build a single customer view across the 4 companies of the
Standard Life Group: Assurance, Investments, Healthcare and the Bank.
● Took a lead role in stakeholder management and the definition of a set of business roles which delivered
a high quality marketing system on time and on budget, yes really.
Lead Analyst: Launch of Standard Life Bank 1997 - 1998
● Took lead in designing batch overnight system for this new bank, this necessitated working closely with
3rd party suppliers of the the software and business stakeholders.
● Seen as key player in post implementation support of launch and resolution of issues.

I am a keen horse rider and walker. When time permits I help my friend at her horse trekking centre in the South of
Spain.
For many years I have been studying Spanish both in the UK and at various residential courses in Spain.
