The Social Change Model of leadership is one which I have identified most with over the course of my leadership studies. The model has lead me to understanding the importance of leadership from the grass roots of an issue. The three part model signifies the layers of my lasagna because they are “The combination of flavors needed to reach your goals.”As a leader, it is important to me to be able to understand how to initiate and lead change. I strive to “be the change I wish to see in the world.” and without the knowledge of the social change model, my goals would not progress into movements.
