The San Antonio Chapel was constructed between 1746-1747 in Santiago de Cali, Colombia at the request of pastor Jose de Alegría to create a viceparroquia on the Hill of San Antonio. The Baroque-style chapel features an altar and paintings in the Baroque school of Quito. In recent years, the chapel underwent only cosmetic changes as it is a protected national monument.
