Here's an FreeRDP based HTML5 client to connect to the Hyper-V console from any client. We are developing this feature mainly for integration with the OpenStack dashboard, but it can be used in any scenario requiring remote Hyper-V guest management.  Hyper-V provides console access via RDP, but using
additional settings compared to a standard RDP connection
 Hyper-V Manager / VMConnect are using it
 Port: 2179 (instead of 3389)
 PCB: pr”econnection blob, contains the VM ID (a GUID)
 Powershell: get-vm | select id, name
 Passing the PCB is possible using:
 the Microsoft remote Desktop ActiveX control
 FreeRDP
