Is The Government Hiding UFO’s From The Public?
Has the United States found proof of aliens? If so where is the proof? What is an alien? These
are all good questions that deserve good answers. There are many debates that the government has
found aliens and is just hiding them away in some secret military base. One of the most popular alien
theories is the existence of a secret military base called Area 51. Area 51 is supposedly located in the
Mojave desert rear Edwards Air Force Base in Nevada. There are many supposed UFO sightings all
around the world, how many of these are actually true we may never know.
To start with what is an alien? An alien is simply a name we as humans have given to life on
another planet. If something was living on the moon we would call it an alien. The aliens that the U.S.
government are believed to have flown here in UFO’s or unidentified flying objects. A UFO is pretty self
explanatory, any flying object that we cannot identify we classify as a UFO. There have been numerous
sightings of UFO’s particularly near Area 51. Although none of these sightings have been confirmed
there may be some truth to a few of them.
What is Area 51? Area 51 is a supposed secret military base located in the Nevada Mojave
Desert. It is rumored to be very close to Edwards Air Force Base, a base that is popular for testing new
U.S. Air Force aircraft. Some of the UFO sightings have turned out to be prototypes for aircraft released
several years later, the F-117 for example. The F-117 is a triangular shaped fighter/light bomber for the
U.S. military. It has many odd shapes on its top surface to scatter any radar beams making it invisible to
any radar. The most interesting thing about it relates to UFO’s. A few years before it’s release, citizens
living rear Edwards Air Force Base made numerous sightings of a triangular shaped UFO. A few months
later the F-117 is released to the public. Coincidence? I think not.
If the U.S. government has already hidden away the F-117 project, who’s to say they aren’t
hiding anything else? That’s where area 51 comes into play. Many people believe that the United States
government has found evidence of UFO’s and is just hiding them away at Area 51. Google Maps, run by
Google, uses satellites to map out the entire Earth and guess what? They have pictures of an air base
located near where Area 51 is supposedly located, and when you get near the base, which the
government denies, armed guards tell you to get lost. Sounds like a waste to guard a piece of the desert
where nothing exists
I agree that there is defiantly a secret base located in the desert but I don’t think that there are
aliens there. To me it seems more like a base to test new technologies for the U.S. military. The desert is
the perfect place to test experimental aircraft, you can land anywhere! Weather the United States

government is actually hiding aliens we may never know but there is defiantly something out in the
middle of the Mojave Desert.
In conclusion, although there is no proof that the U.S. government is hiding UFO’s there is
defiantly a secret airbase located in the Mojave desert. The U.S. government has hidden projects from
the public before so there is no saying why they won’t do it again, take the F-117 project I don’t
personally believe that the U.S. government has any aliens or UFO’s but if we were the only life forms
out there, it would be an awful waste of space!
