This is the 2010 updated presentation on Cetra that is used for the specificaiton training sessions available by Kimball Office. 4. Panel Statement of Line Page 16 Cetra panels range in height from 30”-80”, widths from 18”-60” in 6” increments. Panel Highlights include: Combination panels offer a seamless appearance on one side with fabric on the other. They are used most commonly in reception stations. The full glass panel is available in limited heights and widths. Partial glass offers the glass to set above worksurface height. Data locations can be placed in electrical punches as long as there is no power within the panel. Wireway covers can be moved to other panels in the field. 8. Cetra Overview Page 20 Three top cap profiles are available. Panel Thickness is 2 5/8” Power and Electrical run in the base. Panel has a steel J-Channel Connection. Connectors are required for a directional change or terminate a run. You can add stack to change heights.

9. CetraAccoustical Panel Details Page 21 Acoustical/ Monolithic Panels are the most popular. Panels include: Top cap Two wireway covers Power distribution assembly, if powered panel is specified. Attachment brackets. NRC rating = .75 STC rating = 22 Images taken from installation instructions.

10. Cetra Acoustical Panel Details Page 21 Panel s are joined with an attachment bracket at the top and base of the panel. Vertical slots are located at 1” increments. Images taken from installation instructions.

11. Cetra Top Cap Options Top caps are available in either transitional, softened or square. You can select either a paint or wood finish for the same cost excluding transitional profile. Worksurfaces in Footprint offer similar rims to compliment the top cap profile.

12. Cetra Panel Heights 30-inch high panels Match the standard worksurface height. Recommended when accessibility between work stations is desired. 37-inch high panels Work well with Standing height worksurface. 42-inch high panels Best for areas with frequent transactions. Accommodate transaction surfaces with task lights and soffits.

13. Cetra Panel Heights 50-inch high panels Offers seated privacy. Can use transaction counter here as well. 56-inch high panels Match height of Radius Profile bookcases and lateral files. 61-inch high panels Can accommodate reduced height overhead storage and flat shelves.

14. Cetra Panel Heights 68-inch high panels Recommended by BOSTI for standing height privacy. Minimum height for overheads to allow clearance to the surfaces. Interworks overheads are ideal here. 80-inch high panels Allows enclosure with a door. Not much more privacy or acoustics. Stacking options You can only place 2 stackers on top of ANY panel not to exceed 118”.

15. Cetra Mid-Wireway Panel Page 22 Provides the ability to bring electrical and data to worksurface height. The vertical wireway is 2.6 sq.” and is located 14” from one edge of the panel. It is necessary to use mid-height connectors to continue power at a connector. A powered mid-height panel on ships with one harness. Image taken from installation instructions.

16. Cetra Ceiling Entry Panel Page 23 Ceiling Entry panel is at 68” and 80” heights widths is 30 - 48. You have the ability to go higher with stack, this option gives a cleaner look. Ceiling entry is specified separately from panel. Images taken from installation instructions.

17. CetraGlass Panel Page 24 Full or Partial Glass options are available. Glass is ¼” thick.

18. Cetra Sectional Panel Page 25 Consider using these tiles as accents at the wing locations. Panel frames are not preassembled with tiles. Two tiles are required for each side. Fabric tiles are not tackable or acoustical. Remember that glass tiles reveal rails on three sides which is different a thickness. Slat tiles have 1”. Pass-thru is only offered at the heights shown with the arrows.

19. Cetra Sectional Panel Page 25 When selecting the glass tiles create a specification during installation to turn 1 upside down. Glass tiles can not be used in a 30” high panel. They are not recommend to be used with stack. You would not want to place a glass or ventilated tile on one side with fabric, wood or ventilated on the opposite side. 20. Cetra Stackable Panel Page 26 Stack panels are available 7”, 12” and 19”. You can stack two panels on top of any one panel not to exceed 118” The window panel has an even “picture frame” on all four sides of the panel. The frame for the window panel can be painted, fabric or wood. A floor-to-ceiling top channel can be placed on top of a panel for the appearance of a floor-to-ceiling application. 22. CetraFrameless Glass Page 27 Frameless glass reflects the flat profile top cap. The glass is 3/18” thick. The two aluminum glass holders can be in any paint color independent of the top cap. Frameless glass cannot span more than one panel.

23. Cetra Privacy Panels Page 28 Make sure your opening is smaller than the door to prevent opening into an oncoming aisle. Available 36” or 42”. Door is non-locking. Available as translucent, marker board and fabric. Non-handed and reversible.

24. Cetra Hinge Door Page 29 Available 36” or 42”. Locking lever is available and is ADA suitable. Doors are 1 ¾” thick with a honeycomb interior. Non-handed and reversible. 26. CetraTraxx Starter Panel M Mount You may want to consider creating a perimeter walls with Cetra panels only placing Traxx on the inside. Cetra requires the starter panel in order to connect. This will not break your application of Traxx and offers the greatest possibilities for reconfiguration. Panel is 6” wide and is non-powered. Traxx Starter

28. Traxx & Tiles Trim Cap with Cetra Page 314 The trim cap is compliments the wood top cap profile of Cetra. The trim cap is not structural. The trim cap is 72” and is available either painted or a wood stain.

30. Cetra Connectors Page 30 Connectors are 2 5/8” thick. Connectors need to be specified when changing direction or at the end of a panel run. End trim is consider a connector as is comes with the necessary bracket assembly for support at the end of a run. An S connector (straight) are available to fill parallel panel runs where one panel run has a connector and the other does not. An S connector is not required to join panels.

31. Cetra Stackable Connectors Page 32 There are three ways to order stack connectors which solve different planning solutions based on application. Stackable connector models include: Connector Connection bracketry Note: Top caps are not included. Top cap from base connector will be used. Order the connector to equal the stackable height. Order the connector to equal the height of both stacked units. Order the connector full height of the base and stack panel.

32. Cetra Hi-Lo Connector Page 33 Three and half key points for the specification. Of a hi-lo connector. 1. Direction of hi-lo. 2. Height of your drop. 3. Width of the lower panel. ½. If it is a connector-to-panel hi-lo you need to specify a new connector top cap located on page 100. End trim is 1” thick. 34. CetraApplication Guidelines for Stack Panels Page 26, 32, 35 Two stacks can be placed on top of one panel, the total height can not exceed 118”. Stack panels are load bearing. Stack must equal the same height on all sides of a stack connector. A hi-lo can not be located at a stack connector. A hi-lo can only be created in line with stack. One ATET bracket ships with each stack panel. Overheads cannot hang on wing wall.

42. Floor to Ceiling Applications Floor to ceiling top channel is available in 12’ lengths. It may be cut in width and depth in the field to the desired length. The height can be cut to a maximum of 2” given the channel is 4” tall. It is available in core finishes.

43. Cetra Power and Data Overview Page 36 Powered panels are shipped with an electrical distribution installed. Duplex receptacles are rated at 15 amps. 18” panels can be used to pass power to another however it cannot accept receptacles. Up to 4 duplex receptacles can be used in a powered panels and 8 in a mid-height electrical panel. Refer to page 67 for examples on the variety of jumpers used in a mixture of configurations.

44. Cetra Power Distribution Assemblies Page 37 Power Distributions match the same size as the panel and can be installed on a non-powered panel. There are two wire configurations available for matching building power, 8 and 10-wire. Imagse taken from installation instructions.

45. Cetra Jumpers Page 37 Jumpers are used to pass power from one panel to the next. 18” panels can pass power to an adjacent panel however it offer no power access. When an 18” is used in a t configuration one AEJ2 and one AEJ5 must be used to route power through a connector. Note mid-wire jumper examples on the right-hand side of the page.

Ceiling Power Entry Assembly Includes: Junction Box 12’ jumper cable Hardware Basefeed enters from the side of a panel. The typical length is 72”. A power feed reduces one duplex receptacle location. 49. Cetra New York Components Page 39 A special power entry is required for New York. All panels should be specified as non-powered given distribution assemblies should be specified separately. The junction box specified separately is required for each panel that receives a field-installed hardwired electrical. Branching conduit is used between junction boxes and panel-to-panel connections.
