Cast iron lamp posts nicknamed "Gumbies" were installed along the Jackson Plaza balustrade using cranes, taking 4-5 hours each to secure into place. The lamp posts reach 6.5 feet tall with spherical LED bulb housings and have moisture sealed electrical connections for longevity. Construction updates included installing brick pavers, foundations for future planters, and baggage and ticketing facilities.

2. Cast iron lamp posts were installed along the Jackson Plaza granite balustrade.

3. The 527 lbs lamp post was lifted by a crane to its location.

4. Each lamp post takes 4-5 hours to install.

5. When complete with the spherical bulb housing the lamp will reach a height of 6.5
feet. The electrician next to the lamp post in the photo is 5’11” tall.

6. All electrical connection are moisture sealed with solid filled epoxy for longevity.

8. Efficient and long lasting LED modules are used in each glass spherical bulb.
