- 4. STEP 2: Do the research MY DESIGN PROCESS Alvalyn Lundgren | Alvalyn Creative Observehow students use their lockers. Interview students at several schools about how they use their lockers. What’s working? What isn’t? What would they change, and why? Interview school staff. What is the impetus for the re-design? How do they understand the current situation and what do they want to change? Why?
