  Taxiway S, between Taxiways S2 & U
  Note: Taxiways S2 & S3 will be closed; Taxiway U & Y will
  remain active at all times
  Contractors:
       AP Construction: Phases 8 & 9
       Anderson Construction: Taxiway Rehab Project
  Duration; Work Hours: 29 days; 07:00 – 15:00
  Proposed Start Date: April 1, 2009

      Runway Configuration & Aircraft Traffic Flow
      Weather & Other Special Factors

General Aircraft Traffic Flow
    27 Operations :
        Departures: Taxiways Z to S to Y to P to N to 27L
        Arrivals: On Runway 27R – No Impact
        Potential UPS traffic crossing at Taxiways U & Y
    9 Operations:
        Departures: Taxiways Z to S to Y to W to 9L
        Arrivals: On Runway 9R primarily exiting @ S6, S4 or S1
    Emergencies (Alert 1/2/3):
        Runway 27L: Primary high speed exits S5, S9 or Z
        Runway 9R: Primary high speed exits S6, S4 or S1
Contractors’ Checklist
   Followed marked, predetermined haul routes
   and/or flag person; flag person to have radio OR
   Nextel; provide Emergency Contact List
   Work area must be barricaded
   Remain on north edge of Taxiway S at all times
   Must have Valid DL & PHL ID Badge OR be
   under escort at all times
Contractors’ Checklist (contd.)
   Vehicles to be flagged and/or with beacon at all
   times, even in Visual Flight Rules (VFR). Good
   mechanical condition.
   Maintain speed limit, obey STOP signs & markings
   Remember aircraft always has right-of-way
   Be aware of current location at all times
   Be aware of high
   speed exits
   Call Airport 10
   (215/906-5709) for
   issues, concerns or
   disorientation

        Visibility is less than 3 miles OR

ILS Critical Area Aids
    Following aids are helpful:
        ILS Critical Area Markings (looks like a ladder)
        ILS Critical Area Signage co-located with marking
