This document summarizes how a magazine represents particular social groups in terms of age, gender, music and fashion. The magazine aimed to represent females aged 16 through the use of a female model on the cover and topics that would appeal more to women. It also used colors like grey, blue, black and white that were intended to depict females and the target age range. The front cover was meant to represent music and fashion by dressing the model as if she had been to a party and including fashionable clothing, reflecting that teenagers enjoy music, parties and fashion according to the creator's research.

2. AGE & GENDER
I aimed my magazine at female students aged 16
My magazine represented females as it had a female on the front, although most of the
content was unisex I tried to incorporate some cover lines that would attract mainly a
female audience
I also used colours that I think represented females like grey blue black and white as they
have a cooling relaxed feeling and I felt would represent more the age range I was going
for as well

3. MUSIC & FASHION
I was aiming to represent a music and fashion in to my front cover
My model was dressed up to look like she had just been to a party as from the feed
back I got from my questionnaire and the stereotypical teenage society that me
myself am part of I noted that teenagers like to dance and go to gigs this was my
idea for my image
Also the clothes I chose were to portray fashion consceness as again from my
questionnaire most of the people I asked said that they loved shopping and look for
fashion in a magazine
I included both fashion and music based cover lines on my front cover
