PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCES
Since July 2010: ECRINS THERAPEUTICS, co-founder, president and CEO
Strategy: market analysis (Drug discovery, Oncology, Life
Sciences, Pharmacology) and company positioning. Attracting
strategic public and private contracts (MESR, OSEO/BPI,
CLARA, UJF, INSERM, etc).
Finance and administration: Business Plan & Budget. Relations
with investors. Editing and submitting applications (grants,
« agréments CIR », « statut JEI »). Running the company’s
administration. HR (job definition, interviewing and hiring
personnel).
Commercial activities: market evaluation, communication,
contract negociation, editing contracts.
Results:
Creation of a company with a capital of 106 K€; in-licensing of the
patent WO2011/107709/A1.
Private funds raised (2015): 660 K€.
Fundings obtained: 246 K€ grant « Concours National d’Aide à la
Création d’Entreprises Innovantes » of MESR/OSEO ; 630 K€

Research : project aiming the discovery of new regulators of cell
division and small molecules for the treatment of cancer

Research: project aiming the discovery of novel regulators of cell
division.
Results :
Identification and characterization of an important regulator of
microtubule cytoskeleton, necessary for the cell division (field of
application: oncology).

worked as a nurse in intensive care units in several Moscow hospitals.

PATENTS 1. A patent titled “Production of Human Antibodies from Transgenic
Mice” (12.10.1998, GB8823 869.6/WO90/04036) has been issued to
the Babraham Institute (Cambridge, UK). These mice are being used
for production of human antibodies by companies Medarex and
Abgenix, Inc. Under the BBSRC Reward to Inventors Scheme I
receive fees for my participation in the creation of the intellectual
property.
2. A patent titled “Novel dibenzo[c,h][1,5] naphthyridines and their use
as DNA probes” has been deposed by Inserm Transfert
(Inserm/Institut Curie/CNRS/CEA), 2006. Authors: A.V. Popov, J.-C.
